The Associate is a 1996 film about an African American woman named Lauryel (Goldberg)who works at a big marketing organisation in Wall Street. However when they want a man to actually do her work,she decides to come up with a plan by inventing a causcian man named Robert Cutty as her business associate in order to make it big. But how long will she be able to keep up with the facade and will she disguise herself as a man?.
Overall it was an OK movie,mostly it was for Whoppi Goldberg. My only issue is the fact we don't see Whoppi in disguise that much only at the hour and 13 mark. The makeup that was used on Whoppi to transform into a causian man was good as I barely recognised her(she looked Marlon Brando with the prosthetics).
