I just sat and stared at the screen trying to figure out if Susan Strasberg was giving an awful performance or if the character was written as revoltinfmg and annoying. I decided both were the case. Although Strasberg can't take all the blame for this - after all someone did actually write and then direct this mess - the film did her no favors. This was her second film and she never appeared in an A grade production the rest of her life.
Everyone is awful in this film. You keep hoping the main character will be sent home and everyone can be taken out of their misery. When the payoff finally comes, it isn't even believable.
