Not what I expected
21 January 2022
Epithet Erased is barely animated, passably written, and only available on YouTube and VRV(whatever that is). By all accounts, you would think it to be just an average piece of media to enjoy then forget... however. Since viewing this show I cannot think of anything else.

At first I simply found myself quoting some of the more memorable jokes. Impressions of the protagonists and antagonists followed shorty thereafter. I re-watched once, then twice, now daily. I believe myself to be obsessed. I struggle to feed myself as I am too busy looking at the fantastic character design. Sleep eludes me as I spend hours in bed creating Epithet OCs. In my waking hours, I hear the expert delivery of the many talented voice actors echo in my mind. I can no long work and my funds have begun to run dry after kickstarting Prison of Plastic, the record breaking audiobook that will be the canonical continuation of the series. My wife and kids have been gone for a week. The rest of my family worries as well. They do not understand that the limited animation was due not only to budget constraints but to make it feel more like the TableTop Role Playing Game it was based on.

They are coming for me. I may not have much time. I may never escape this madness I have fallen into, but you can still avoid it. Please use caution if you attempt to experience this expertly crafted, wholly original and unique world. The witty dialogue is a slippery slope into deep, complicated characters with well-thought-out motivations and personalities.

I am out of time. Tell my wife and kids that I'm sorry and I loved them. Send them my Percy body pillow.
