Really sappy, really predictable, and really soft, but within it's genre, Orange is gold.

The strongest part of Orange was probably the voice acting. It's not always easy to tell, with the language barrier and all, but the voice performances in Orange were so fantastic, so committed and entertaining, it made up for all of the shortcomings of the narrative. Whoever wrote this script is fluent in telling, but not showing. Half of the lines were blatant descriptions and left little to the viewer's own intelligent interpretation, and another fourth of them were simply redundant. The writer of.
