Entertaining. Great acting. Intertwined as a work of art. I am not sure why others have not reviewed it as highly. I have seen every Virginian episode and this also deserves a place at the top. As to the concern as to why the Virginian would be so concerned about someone he had a brief encounter with, well, love does interesting things to people. The 19th century relationships are not like more modern ones. It is not that hard to understand.
