Modern ( early 2000) British spin on Alice in Wonderland. Memorable and quirky characters. Extremely well acted. True gem of the lower budget genre. It can be convoluted, but the original was a pretty confusing drug addled ride with carnival like misogynistic characters of dubious origin as well, so there is that to remember when trying to interpret the meanings of the film...
Overall I liked it and thought it was creative and inventive and fun and intriguing...a good watch.
