Less than perfect dad. Wise beyond her years daughter. Daughter allegedly teaching him and ~resolving~ his demons. One boring trope after another. I don't even mind a cliche if it's good, but... this wasn't even "so bad it's good". I say that as a D movie fan. Save your time.
