Ofc the reboots aren't going to be as good as the original, but there's no reason to trash in this show(and episode in particular)
It literally has the same message as the episode in which BeBe and CeCe are made to be 14 years old... don't rush to grow up.

Maya being radical? Because that's literally her character, ofc now that's shes 19 and I'm college her views would be more established Zoey having the best glow up? That's the joke, even when they got their new 14yr old looks she literally stayed the same. So ofc the writers would give her a glow up at age 19
