I came to the Lost party in 2020, long after the show had aired while we were in COVID lockdown and got to see it all through a massive binge!.
The effort the writers went to while fleshing out peoples favourite characters has been epic.
I'm rewatching the series and this is my favourite episode. The mystery of Richard Alpert is one that carried throughout the show.....this episode is a masterpiece. I won't spoil any of it, but do yourself a favour and watch this one again and again.
There were so many great episodes of Lost, the ones that stand above all others are this and 'The Constant' in season 4. Both brought tears to my eyes and I wished I could write like that!.
