Poor Nachi. He got an awesome introduction, and back then in my childhood when I watched this episode by the first time, I actually thought that he would be able to have a decent fight against Ikki.
Instead, he is defeated in the most humilliating manner anyone could imagine, without even being able to raise his fists. (I actually thought he died on this chapter, but he appears alive in a much later chapter, even though he doesn't do get to do very much for the rest of the series.)
Poor Jabu is also defeated on record time.
Now that I think about it, this was the episode that sealed the fate of the secondary bronze saints, relegating them to a total irrelevance.
Which is shame, especially considering the importance the series used to gave them on its first arc.
Basically, once Ikki was introduced most of the cast was overshadowed, at least until the debut of the Gold Saints, who in turn starting overshadowing everyone else on the spin-offs.
