Good early Jackie Chan flick
24 April 2022
Fearless Hyena is a Kung Fu comedy not dissimilar to previous hit Drunken Master. This is Jackie Chan 's directorial debut and if you are a fan of his 70's era films this should be up your alley. It takes a mostly lighter tone and is very fast paced and jam packed with lots of fights and Kung Fu action to the film's end. The version I seen is horribly overdubbed in English. But I don't mind as I am used to this as I am used to seeing lots of Kung Fu flicks of this period presented in this manner. But don't let crappy overdubbing and some of the goofy comedy deter you, the fight scenes are amazing and Jackie Chan is ripped and in top fighting shape.
