An Unjustly Overlooked Film
24 April 2022
The last film shot at Ealing when the studio was on it's last legs but still producing work worthy of it's name. An ingenious police drama with the usual incisive performance in the lead by Jack Hawkins and vividly evoking a London long ago when the forecourt of the Royal Festival Hall in those far off days wasn't then divided up by crash barriers and parked cars.
