Most of the fun we got out of the movie was watching replicas of the real Action Park attractions, and getting a feel of the overall mayhem the original park must have been. Johnny Knoxville and Chris Pontius bring a lot of chemistry on screen, stunts are as painful as in Jackass, and the overall tone is light and unassuming. I was surprised to see how closely the story mirrors the original Action Park, I guess they could have just said it was "based on real events", and it would have been somewhat true. It could have been so much better, but it's OK as is.
