Do you like anime but your favourite parts are all the filler episodes and the plots that make absolutely no sense? Do I have a show for you. A hard series to find in full, I have fond memories of staying up super late at friends to watch this on Toonami. I didn't understand the show then, and I don't understand the show, but man is it a trip. The closest modern comparison I can think of is Jojo's Bizzare Adventure (tho I have yet to see, is on my list) and honestly I would bet this show is even more bizzare than that. Following the bonafide protector Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo who uses his magic power to control and talk to hair to fight an evil organization of baldies, slowly seeking to turn the world bald one head at a time. Using his nose hairs as weapons, the many people/creatures/gadgets he has hidden in his afro, and joined by his friends Beauty (a young generic pink haired girl following them) and Don Patch (a mean-talking orange round sun thing?), the group sets out to save the world. This show is insane and I love every second of it; I still don't know why it exists, but I'm so glad that it does.
