When the producers like somebody they do everything so that person wins. Challenges and eliminations are custom made to help a certain player. If someone is plotting against the favorite, a challenge will show that, two people planing to vote him out = double elimination. Rules are being bent, secret influencers and jokers created. Everything for their favorite to win.
Also, the picking of the contestants is not made by the quality of person, but it is about filling a quota. And the quota is not even representative of a reality, just some political correctness.
