It's Not The Wind, It's The Debris That Kills You!

Warning: Spoilers
The special effects were great. The acting was as good as you might expect from this kind of disaster flick. The believability behind, well, ALL of it was BAD.

Oklahoma gets 65+ tornadoes a YEAR. They would have loud tornado sirens going off, mass emergency alert texts going out... no WAY all those people are being caught unawares like that. They can see the clouds, the air, and KNOW it's tornado weather.

The faculty continuing to hold graduation outdoors with even a HINT of that weather? Wow.

An emergency storm shelter isn't just some random hallway. It's steel reinforced concrete, usually underground and YES, can withstand an F5 tornado. Why would the entire town remain in one that's already been torn up by a much smaller one?

The thing that's super dangerous in high winds is the flying debris. Stalks of hay pierce right through telephone poles. Imagine what all that debris would do to PEOPLE. Every person in that storm tunnel would have looked like they'd been fed through a garbage disposal.

Such an idiotic way for the cameraman to die. Filming something incredibly dangerous hundreds of feet tall that's prone to moving erratically from, what, 30' away?!!? WHY?!!? Did he forget the zoom function exists?

Jumbo jets and semi trucks being flung about, but people easily able to hold on to each other, doors, etc.

Twister was a classic. This was a poor rip-off with too many story lines that don't develop enough to make you care much about any of them.
