Not due to cultural appropriation but for the sake of quality - please use people with real accents from real countries - please !! I mean, are we still in an age when actors are used for voiceovers who can't even do an accent ? Why not get someone Scottish to do the Scottish accent ? And why oh why is there nobody on this planet who can do an Irish accent ? The voices in this film sound like a bunch of Australian drunks.
If you can listen to randomized accents, and dont mind missing half the dialog, then this is a half decent film, not particularly well written, as its just another generic template, filled in by studio session writers, and not very well voice acted as I already mentioned. It does have the Disney empathy triggers so its good for 5-9 year olds. It seems the days of decent writing are well and truely gone, we just have to lower our expectations now, and get used to formulaic, nuetralized cliches. So watch this, its a good 6 out of 10.
