As someone who grew up in New Mexico, I wonder if the film makers actually know anything about it. Firstly they call the food Mexican... it's not Mexican it's NEW Mexican, there is a huge difference! Movie mixes several Hispanic cultures. Makes New Mexico seem like it's Mexico, half these things I've never seen! We also don't go around in Mexican pesant blouses, ponchos and broom skirts. The acting is pretty rough, and the lighting is horrible. The actresses accent is horrible and distracting. They also misspell chile... when you're talking about NM, it's chile not chili.. get with it. The actual story line could be good, but the lack of research in this movie is super distracting.
