Thirty years after the end of the Second World War, Telly Savalas learns from German James Mason about six million dollars of gold bullion hidden by the Nazis in what is now East Germany. So he assembles of team from his old army unit, including Robert Culp and Aldo Ray to break out the one man who knows where the loot is hidden.

Although there are a few good moments in this movie, it looks like a paycheck movie for most of the performers: do the job efficiently, collect a paycheck, and go home. Perhaps it is my reaction to Telly Savalas, who always seems to acting rather than being invested in the character. This is clearly a case where your mileage may vary.
