Everyone is complaining about the ending but life doesn't always have a happy ending and sometimes it's good to realize that with a movie!
Costner and Lane were both great in their roles. People hate on the character played by Lane but she was just very persistent and maybe if y'all had a child or grandchild you'd understand how difficult that is. But yeah they could have planned better rescuing them but who knows!
I enjoyed the movie, it was frustrating at times to watch, very sad and depressing but that's life also!
