This story got my attention and kept me interested from start to finish. The script is very intelligent, the dialogue is clever and on point, the romances are all realistic and fun. This is another of those movies that I would recommend to a variety of people, young and old alike. Not many films deliver quite like this one, and so accolades to be given for directing, casting, writing, the whole crew. I can't say it enough, this movie was crafted perfectly. If you are a nerd of sorts, or you are into accounting, numbers, math, computers, etc... this will be the Christmas movie for you. And as a bonus, it's about a number crunching, analytical, hard working, hopeless romantic. Does it get any better?
The chemistry is just right, not too pure, not fancy, just a little nerdy, and smart, but vulnerable and honest. He says all the right lines, and it seems he's playing a part perfectly - but he's not at all. And she is swept up in this fake romance just as wholly as he, but is she? Well done!
Side note: same tall glass skyscraper in the city that I've seen in 25+ Hallmark movies. Get a new establishing shot please.
