I would have most likely given this performance an 8; however, the laugh track is not only distracting, but downright annoying.
I just don't understand why he would choose to use it.
If the people in the audience are able to laugh without a laugh track, why does anyone feel the home viewers need one. I don't laugh because other people are laughing, I laugh when someone is saying or doing something funny.
Can you imagine if your friend is telling a joke, and at the punchline, he plays a laughter WAV file on his phone?
He should really consider doing this show again without it. It would make it so much better.
