The only dlc for the first Dark Souls, this was surely one of the hardest parts in the game, especially when it came to Father of the Abyss. He was such a relentless boss, I would say he was even harder than the base game endgame bosses. The plot was actually really neat as you travel in the past, seeing familiar faces, such as Sif as a young wolf who misses his master Artorias. This dlc was heavy on lore which I loved, and with the many callbacks, it was fun. Also when the giant shoots down the dragon was also probably the coolest cutscene in the entire game. Lots to love here, (especially as a dark souls fan) and even though a lot of the map is literally locations you go in the basegame, the developers change it up just enough to make it feel brand new again. Recommended.
