This is one of those films that has a truly remarkable mix of 2nd rate acting, atrocious special effects and plot holes, yet it somehow it works (God knows how) Probably because it sticks with the basic premise that good guys eventually kick the butts of the bad guys.
Whats bad
Much of the Acting is cringeworthy Special effects are laughable (by modern standards) Full of cliche's and stereo types Continuity issues - e.g. One minute a car is wrecked driving through a caravan, next scene our hero is driving same untouched vehicle.
Plots holes so big that they become black holes.
Whats good
Tom Berenger somehow holds this together as the Rambo school teacher, black board jungle with automatic weapons.
This combined with the classic premise of good fighting and triumphing over evil.
If you remember the 80s and 90' it's also an exercise in nostalgia
6.5/10 worth a watch if you like B rate action films.
