The ancient story of New Jerusalem begins to make sense now, as the characters from the beginning of this second season take on the personas of their ancient forebears, leading up to the resurrection of a cult leader named Amity (Mathilde Dehaye) from the past. It looks like Annie Wilkes (Lizzy Caplan) is the target to bring a four-hundred-year-old prophecy to fruition, and in the best Stephen King tradition, you have to know that something bad is coming.
