Review of Supermax

Supermax (2016)
1/10
Simple why
8 April 2023
The first time I saw it was when it was released, and at first I didn't quite understand the story. Watching it again 8 years later, I simply regret it too much. The premise is good, very good, something that really creates something, not just horror but more focused on the characters' drama, but the series takes this and says, "these 4 main characters have problems with each other, let's make it like they're in elementary school." Another factor is the 12 episodes, where most of it is just "the captain and Arthur fighting like two spoiled children," and the worst part is when it takes 4 episodes for something to actually happen, and even when it does, it doesn't save much. It's no wonder that the highest rated episode is episode 10, which is surprisingly a good episode, without dragging and confusing drama, just events filled with tragedy. Anyway, there's more, but it's not worth my time to write it all.
