This series left a lot to be desired. I foolishly gave it a second chance after quitting half way through episode one, but I should have trusted my gut instinct and saved my time. I'm beginning to study the Channel Islands' occupation and so I watched it for the sake of a historical, entertaining portrayal, but nothing historically interesting was involved. Never mind the inaccuracies.
Apart from the sexual content, I was most disappointed with the lack of interesting storyline. The characters were unlikeable and boring, the story was boring, even the conflict was boring. How this got from a script to production, I can't understand.
So glad they displayed the wisdom to forego a second season.
