Important documentary about the disadvantage
27 April 2023
(2001) Senorita Extraviada/ Missing Young Women (Much of the dialect is in Mexican with English subtitles) DOCUMENTARY

Involving documentary about several missing girls and women that exist within the city of Juarez, Mexico. From the time this documentary had been made which is 2001, only 271 had been found dead out of 450 reported missing. Majority of it's victims are assumed to be victims of rape before being discarded, with odds stacked against into solving them or classified as a hopeless cause as much of the evidence collected had either been tampered, contaminated or thrown away altogether, as a result of poor training and corruption from a very weak legislative establishment. Some of the possibilities, documentarian, Lourdes Portillo made a note about in terms of the perpetrators also include, bus drivers, cartels, the Mexican police, CEO's, to the people at the top. The actual problem as far as I can see, is the lack of proper legislation and enforcement created by Mexico's closest neighboring allying country which is the United States from it's right-wing politicians who they're dehumanizing the people of Mexico as a whole, by means of impoverishing the entire country itself. There's like 'zero' money into preserving and solving any of these murders, therefore the murders continue and to me that's disgusting.
