Mani started the epic with proper first part and the ending of part one is classic. And concluded with the second with little bit more of compromise to the novel. The second part start was awesome and added some extra flashbacks to add more strength to the core plot.
The production values, the presentation and the acting was class. Mani and others writers brilliance were seen in lot of scenes where it was difficult to imagine while reading the novel. The Killing sequence were captured in nice and simple way. It was bit complicated in novel.
Now to the negatives: Looks like more positive shades added to Nandini character than in the first part. Kundavai and ArulMozhi characters are bit compromised. Lot of illogical side stories added like the war sequences.
The climax, no Novel reader will agree on it... I agree if we extend, we need one more part to be taken, but it looks like disturbing to see the current climax....(novel readers can understand, others cant understand this, sorry) Rahuman dubbing is pathetic.
By forgetting novel, we can enjoy this movie... Recommended for the effort and output.
