My Reaction / Review for Nefarious (2023): An atheist psychiatrist vs a demon possessed inmate who is about to be executed, that's a nice concept. Also the pastor said that there are no demons, what kind of pastor is that? It's clear in the bible that demons are a real thing. The demon is smart telling the doctor that if you don't really believe in demons, invite me in, that's cool. I like that the movie is basically just two completely different people talking about God and religion. I don't know yet if Nefarious is a demon but something tells me that indeed the inmate is possessed.
Nefarious really made the pychiatrist's brain melt. The demon shares some really harsh truths about the state of humanity. Wow the electric chair scene graphic, really brutal. Now that the demon is released will he possess the doctor? Oh boy the demon was no joke, now the doctor knows. I like how it ends with the doctor publishing the demon's book and warning people about spiritual warfare. And it ends with the demon coming back into the doctor's life. Overall a very decent movie while not a masterpiece but still good. My rating is 7.5/10.
