Devilreaux (Vincent M. Ward) is the surname of a slave and his son who was murdered by three prominent white families. His mother (Meberate Abajian ) was a voodoo priestess who was raped by the owner. She curses their bloodline. His spirit enacts revenge on the blood line when he is summoned by Ouija or cow bell. A group of kids were attempting to summon him in the Michael's mansion/museum where the incident took place. Much of the story is told as a flashback. This include the 19th century events which takes a good 45 minutes and also the teens playing in the house. They needed less on stuff that happened in the past. Lexi Allen (Monaye Moyes) was a teen that survived as she explains her story to Lt. Bobbie Briggs (Krista Grotte Saxon ).
Krista Grotte Saxon went to the Angelique Pettyjohn school of acting. It was sad. They could have written better scenes and spliced things together more effectively. The plantation flashback should have been shortened and the kids playing in the museum a bit longer.
