Suggesting Rhodey has been a skrull since civil war is profoundly stupid. Consider the fact that it retroactively taints avengers 3 and 4. Do you mean to tell me one of the last people Stark saw before his death was an alien disguised as his best friend who also showed up to his funeral? So in the five years of the blip it was some random alien bonding with the avengers? An alien, by the way, that dies immediately. Waste of a character. Waste of Maria Hill and Talos. All three of these characters plus Gravik die unceremonious, uninteresting, bland deaths.
Maybe that's the point right? Because this is a "grounded show"? Nope. The plot devolves into a 1.5 minute cgi-fest which ends 5 episodes of "build-up". No one learns anything. Nick is the same guy as last we saw him. The only thing we've accomplished is giving Emilia Clark the cheat codes to adopt every single superpower, and kill off the two characters that made the show interesting.
