Review of The Flash

The Flash (I) (2023)
6/10
To silly at times

Warning: Spoilers
I was looking forward to this film but I was disappointed.

Everyone seems to be going on about the bad CGI but I think that was deliberate.

The story line was what interested me, I love anything to do with time travel and the basic story is pretty good, a great mixture of time travel and multiverses with all the possible changes that can happen.

The thing that got me annoyed was there was to much "comedy" involved. Trying to make it more light hearted, it didn't work (well not for me anyway). I think it would have been a lot better if the story line had been a bit more serious and a lot less comedy.

The alternative Barry/Flash was way to silly. (although I think that was the idea, it didn't work for me)

Michael Keaton's Batman was a part of the film that made it worth a watch, as was Sasha Calle's Supergirl.

The twist at the end with a different Bruce/Batman leads to a possible follow on to try and correct his mistake, but I don't think they will do one.

Overall worth a watch as there were some very good scenes, but I can't see me watching it again.
