6/10
Suspenseful, streamlined but misses out on a true intelligence based thriller.

Warning: Spoilers
The premise of this story is perfect, considering the fact that this movie premiered 3 years before 9/11. The story from the start up until the point where (***Spoilers***) Will Smith's character meets up with his wife again to tell her the truth and apologize. We are already almost 1 and 1/2 half hour into the movie at that point so I guess the director thought to speed up the movie and end it or the movie might be too long. This didn't do justice to the movie as it could've been one of the best spy/intelligence based movies out there. From meeting the former NSA guy to the meeting with John Voight to the meeting between the NSA and the mob. Movies enjoy a bit of unrealism but I think this does away with the flavour of this particular movie which I think was intended to be a realistic depiction of a guy who unknowingly is caught between very dangerous people.

All in all, a movie which had potential to be one of the best movies out there but some decisions ensured it to be another one-time watch movie. Still good movie to kill 2 hours.
