Both my kids are under 9 and they love the show! It's very much in the vein of Spidey and His Amazing Friends, both in animation style and in storytelling. Setting wise, it takes place 200 years before the saga, which makes sense. War isn't a great background for a show for littles. My kids are not bothered that the characters are all new to them, my youngest adores the Ewok and the droids. The older loves all of the different races and species included, they've always enjoyed that. Forget the human looking characters lol they're here for the different and off beat. I love that we have a lower stakes show that includes my youngest in the fun of Star Wars and has basic lessons. I monitor their shows pretty close. As a parent, I'm very happy with it.
