I was excited to see this film after learning how it's considered a cult classic. After about 30 minutes of watching, I was struggling to keep my eyes open. I have never seen a movie that has absolutely zero plot, take so long to get to where it's going.
When Night of the Demons does take off, it's medicore at best. The kills were nothing special, with at least one I can remember being off screen. It's obvious they were going for something similar to The Evil Dead 1981. It's just that nothing works here. The climax is satisfying I'll give it that. So I guess you could say it's not entirely a trash pile.
