A rogue scientist steals a time travel/space-time vortex/lightning striking doo-dad and strange things start to happen. I was never quite sure what was going on in the movie as it proceeded and the ending didn't make much sense. The characters were cardboad and the dialogue was paper-thin. A musical score boomed in the background to little effect and the special effects were ..... colourful at least. Hero Caleb Smith played by Jason Priestley was uninteresting as were most of the cast. The inside agent was obvious a mile off. The only character I liked was Alison Curran as played by Erin Karpluk. Her scenes were believable and I was most annoyed when she was needlessly killed off. Boo, to that story decision. Apart from Ms. Karpluk it's a chore to sit through.
