Sam Raimi is a great director especially when he has a limited budget and thanks to this he can show his virtuosity without depending on special effects. This is the story of a woman who seeks revenge and surrounds herself with colorful characters to carry out her goal. The cast is remarkable and perfectly represents every Wild West archetype. Sharon Stone has never been more beautiful and Gene Hackman is a delight-inducing villain. The film moves quickly, is well filmed and edited and has various moments that will make you reflect on the fatal moment of current cinema. Despite being an unlikely western with a female protagonist, the ones who shine the most are Crowe, Hackman, Di Caprio and Bell. Sharon Stone is very beautiful but here she does not stand out precisely because of her acting talent. Highly recommended for all those who enjoy seeing Di Caprio leave for the next world.
