Bob Hoskins and Denzel are great together. They tackle race issues without getting peachy. It transitions from hilarious to serious, I think, pretty seamlessly, and ends on a high note. Bob's ability to perform with a U. S. accent is so good that I didn't know he was from England until I was in my teens. His character has a warped view of the world and evolves into a good dude by the end, so bare with his racist ways as he is healed with the help of Denzel. I found this transformation pretty touching actually, thanks to the great performances and chemistry of these two brilliant actors. It's not Shakespeare, but I think Heart Condition is highly underrated and worth a shot.
