I will need to watch this again to sort things out. Two-thirds of the episode puts us in the final days of the one existing universe. The other one, the alternate one, has been destroyed. Walternate, who is ultimately responsible for the worst of this, has made his way into the original and is orchestrating its demise. His face is stern and unyielding, his eyes scrunched together. He is, for all practical purposes, a madman. Walter has been in a maximum security prison and the whole world blames him for what took place. He has been through a trial and was found culpable, even though it is Walternate who started the machine. I know the conclusion isn't for everyone, and we don't even understand half of it. But there are two more seasons. Can they sustain it?
