This clever post apocalyptic Sci-Fi thriller is an interesting polemic in a post pandemic world. Wayne Dees creates a dark world in which the powerful are distorting the truth for their own political gain. Humans beings are dispensable and are being controlled by a toxic virus. Who controls the information? It examines the extent to which people will destroy one another for their own benefit. And a world in which facts and truth are so meaningless that people begin to question their very own perception. Like David Lynch, Jorge Ameer blurs the line between realism and an alien induced haze, beautifully while punctuating the madness with Fellini esque moments. All these elements combine to pack quite a punch. Oran Stainbrook is outstanding as Alex Fereti, a man who is clinging to his sanity and soul in the face of great odds. Don't miss it!
