Masterful Varda feature
4 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Agnes Varda needs no introduction, and little praise can do her contributions to cinema justice, being one of the all time greats and magnificent auteurs.

This is definitely one of her more well known and iconic features, for sure. And for very good reason. It is very ingeniusly told, being a bit of a blend between a documentary and a feature, without becoming a mockumentary. Very beautifully put together, and very clever, in ways that Agnes could only convey fully.

The actors all do an incredible job, for sure. And it is all very expertly paced, cinematographied, cut and edited.

Overall, a must see for any lover of film!
