The Nutcracker: The Untold Story (2010) is very poorly imagined. The imagery was good but they story was overdone, poor music (which should have been the center of the movie), the plot was hard to understand, the story is.way different than Tchaikovsky Nutcracker. So the whole movie has lost the charm of the Nutcracker Story. The Nutcracker is an 1892 two-act classical ballet by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, set on Christmas Eve at the foot of a Christmas tree in a child's imagination. The real plot is an adaptation of E. T. A. Hoffmann's 1816 short story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. The movie is a very very loose imagining of the plot. It is a waste of time and not worth watching a second time. I give it a 3 out of 10.
