Immensely Good, apart from...

Warning: Spoilers
I found this movie El Alamein - La linea del fuoco like I do a lot of what I watch on a streaming service, and it sounded especially interesting, being about WWII and the North African conflict because my father was there from 1942 in the 8th Army and I found this all the more intriguing because I never knew the Italians were there, I was under the obviously misguided notion that it was Allies against the Afrika Corp and German Army... ok history over, on to the Film...

I found this movie to be immensely involving, very well shot, the acting was superb and atmospheric, and at the end had a bit of a lump in my throat looking at all the head stones at the memorial just brings it all home that war is hell.

I gave this movie a 8.5/10 it would have been 10/10 apart from the slightly biased feel and that ridiculous scene near the end when the British 8th Army arrive and just walk through the Italian machine gun posts like they were not there, now whether that was meant to be symbolic or not I have no idea, but for me, it detracted from the Movie that had been very involving to that point, and which up until that scene was just brilliant, and I have to say this is a movie I will watch again and have recommended to my film buff friends.
