Transformers: Rise of the Beasts adds a freshness to the series, a different threat, and takes us back to the 1990s (and the associated pop music), before all the alliances with humans were intact. Of course we meet new transformer-type of aliens with their own sense of humor and powers. Our main unemployed hero has a younger brother with a serious medical condition, and our heroine is a very knowledgeable individual in ancient artifacts, and employed as a lowly intern. But together they help the Transformers save the world and universe as we know it. Good funny parts, and heart warming ones as well. Nice escapist type of movie. Highly recommended.
