Warning: Spoilers
Admitting that her fascination with male genitalia made her choose urology as a profession, Karla DeVito is one unique young lady, and for the ultra pretty Robbie Benson, her examination of his privates leads to romance and marriage. At least that got him away from the dreadful Debra Port who's family isn't exactly one to marry into, and her fidelity is easily questionable. DeVito's family is equally odd, with dad Burt Reynolds (this time supporting Robby after three previous films) and mom Rue McClanahan.

A quirky but unfortunately quickly forgotten screwy twisted dark comedy, this was much more amusing than I expected it to be. Kaye Ballard is a very funny medical office receptionist, and Cliff Bemis is the untalented hack client of Benson's boss, Frankie Valli. As Benson's last film before he began concentrating on voice overs, it's also one that he tried to be Orson Welles on, directing, writing and producing. The chemistry between him and real life wife DeVito is filled with fun buildups to their love scenes. Quite unique and worth digging up to find.
