Besides the very good to awesome choreographed scenes, martial art prowesses and mini romantic plot, 'Fist of Legend' is a movie that though characterized and centralized on Chen Zhen, we don't have full runtime of him, but the scenes that he's in whether "normalized" or in full fighting mode and spirit, nearly make up for it.
The better extracts are his fight training with the Japanese master and the final fight with the General whose death was a little unrealistic. Both gave it all in that fight, but the outcome was a bit strange. ~1-0-1 -- ~1-1-0 became 1-0 to finish the movie. Would have liked it to be a bloody draw.
