Why didn't you address the penalties if a civilian fights back against a thief. That's the real problem. If the DA's office refuses to prosecute, why can't the NYPD refuse to arrest someone who is defending themselves or a third party? The fact that nothing is done just empowers these groups to be more brazen and you can't tell me that in the video that was shown of the woman being dragged, that she wasn't injured. It's time you started asking the real questions. I thought you stood up for true journalism, and didn't hold any punches but in that interview you were so wishy-washy, just letting the spokesman blame the DA's office. Where is the campaigned to oust the DA? I can't believe the people of that borough condone his office's activities and stand on crime.
