WHAT JOSIAH SAW is a supernatural horror film broken into three distinct parts.

Part One: The Ghost of Willow Road:- A young man (Scott Haze) struggles with his alcoholic, overbearing father (Robert Patrick). When dad receieves a "vision from God", things begin to change drastically on their ruined property.

Part Two: Eli and the Gypsies- A low-level crook (Nick Stahl) has one last chance to redeem himself, or face the deadly consequences of his mounting debts. Roped into a plot involving Romany gold, he finds himself involved in something far more complicated than any heist, with paranormal implications. This segment plays like something directed by Tarantino or the Coen Brothers. Arguably the best part of the movie.

Part Three: Mary, May I?- Mary (Kelli Garner) and her husband go through the process of adopting a child. When an unexpected visitor shows up, Mary is drawn back to her past, ushering in the disturbing climax of the movie.

This is a well-made, suspenseful, and utterly bizarre film. It's an anthology movie of sorts, with the seemingly separate pieces coming together at the end. It definitely has its creepy moments, and the story and characters are engaging.

Highly recommended for those looking for something a bit different from the usual horror fare...
