Person of Interest: Liberty (2013)
Season 3, Episode 1

The Cuban Cigars

Shaw has team-up with Reese and Finch, and now is helping them. The Machine delivers to Finch the number of Jack Salazar, a sailor who joined the navy as an alternative to go to prison offered by the judge. Reese follows him and learns that he is loyal to his friends and fights very well. He protects his friend Robert Johnson in a bar and he gives a couple of cigars he had stolen from his commander to Jack. When Jack is hunted down by a serious gang of diamond smugglers and Johnson is kidnapped, Reese and Shaw have to help them to save their lives with the help of Fusco. Carter is demoted to a patrol officer, but she continues to chase the head of the HR, now with the support of Elias. Meanwhile, Root is interned in a mental institution, but she has problems with her psychiatrist, Dr. Ronald Carmichael, since he has forbidden her to have access to any electronic device.

"Liberty" is an entertaining episode of "Person of Interest", and Reese now has a partner, Shaw. Their number is not a perpetrator, but a navy sailor that was involuntarily involved in a case of smuggling diamonds from Afrika. Carter now is a patrol officer since HR pulled the strings to damage her reputation. The psychopath Root was spared by Finch, Reese and Shaw, and now will certainly bring problems to the clinic where Finch interned her. My vote is eight.
